Shehu Sani advocates Appeal Court should not upturn people’s choices in Plateau, Kano, but save multi-party democracy
Senator Shehu Sani has advocated that the Court of Appeal should save multi-party democracy in Nigeria.
Sani stated that the court in its anticipated judgement on the governorship elections in Plateau and Kano states, should not upturn the will of the people in both states.

Plateau State was won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) won the governorship election in Kano State.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is fighting to take back Plateau and Kano states through the court.
