Shehu Sani reacts after a man said Ummita was sponsored to study abroad by her alleged killer
It is no longer news that a Chinese National recently killed his alleged lover in Kano State. According to reports gathered, the 23-year-old lady identified as Ummakulsum Sani Buhari (Ummita) was stabbed to death by the Chinese National on Friday night and was buried on Saturday according to Islamic rites.
Many things have been said since this ugly incident reportedly transpired with some blaming the victim based on claims that she refused to marry the suspect after promising to marry him.
Few hours ago, a social media user simply identified as Usman Libata alleged that it was the Chinese man who sponsored her education to Uganda and even bought the house the deceased and her parents were living in with the promise to marry him.
His claim has stirred up a lot of reactions from many people including Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
In a post released on his twitter handle, Senator Shehu Sani noted that even though the man actually sponsored her education, he has no justification to kill her.
Below is a screen capture of his post.
