Singer Nasboi carpets Spyro over Shallipopi’s song
Popular Nigerian singer Nasboi has carpeted his colleague Spyro over his criticism of Shallipopi’s song “Para Dey Body.”
Nasboi took to social media to express his disapproval of Spyro’s comments, saying that he was being disrespectful and should mind his own business.
“Spyro should focus on his own music and stop trying to police other artists,” Nasboi wrote. “He’s not the moral police.”

Nasboi also pointed out that Spyro has released songs with controversial lyrics in the past.
“Spyro is no saint,” Nasboi wrote. “He’s released songs with lyrics that are just as offensive as Shallipopi’s.”
The controversy has sparked a debate about the role of musicians in society. Some people believe that musicians should be free to express themselves, regardless of how controversial their lyrics may be. Others believe that musicians have a responsibility to be mindful of the impact their words can have on others.
