Sport, the untapped resources – Hon. Olayiwola

Youths of Mushin constituency II have been charged to exploit their talents in sporting activities and eschew social vices, as opportunities for them to excel abound.
Hon. Olayiwola Olawale gave this charge while delivering a welcome address, at the second edition of the “Omititi Unity Cup” a periodic football competition hosted by the lawmaker.
In his words,”talents abound in my constituency that is why I am engaging them in sporting activities that are viable, football scouts and philanthropist are here to hunt for talent fit for greater feats.
“I am also set to come up with a foundation tagged, “Layi Olawale Foundation” (LOF), which will see to aiding the economic progress of constituents.
He urge well meaning individuals in the constituency to key into the strategy, targeted at uplifting the status of youths and others for better Mushin.

The grand finale championship match was played by two teams representing ward E cladded in green jersey and ward I wearing white jersey.
The championship played at Bishop Aggey’s secondary school open field, immediately after a novelty match that had the host as team member with a goal in his kitty, ended with a goalless draw and was therefore decided with a penalty shoot-out.
Ward E emerged winner of the football tournament, beating ward I, 7-6 .
The unity cup was also sponsored by Winning Bet Game owned by Chief Babatunde Obasa and Bet9ja owned by Hon. Kunle Shoname.
An All Progressive Congress (APC), local government chairmanship aspirant in Mushin,Mr. Ishola Karaole, one of the spectators noted that he is in the race to better the lots of his people, having served at various lower capacities before.
” I am qualified for the job because of my years of experience in playing council administrative roles, many here have testimonies of my contributions.
“If I am elected chairman, I will address four issues, these includes;health, unemployment, road network problem and security”. Said Karaole.
