Tinubu, Shettima fly into Katsina, present Certificates of Return to Buhari
The winner of the 2023 presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running ,ate, Kashim Shettima, on Wednesday, flew into Daura, Katsina State, where they presented their respective certificate of return, issued to them by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their victory in the February 25 presidential election.

President Buhari in a tweet wrote “President-elect, Bola Tinubu, visits President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. /@MBuhari.
“It was my pleasure to receive His Excellency the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and His Excellency, the Vice President-Elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, at home in Daura, today. Two men who are true believers in Nigeria and genuinely committed to progress and development.
“The President-elect was accompanied by some All Progressives Congress (APC) governors, including Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi).”
