Tiwa Savage’s new album is ready for release
TIWA Savage album is cooked, packaged and ready to be served. All who attended her listening party at Spice Route, Victoria Island, Lagos would attest to that. The Mavin star, who is currently signed to Sony/ ATV Music and Mavin Records, last released an album in July 2013. It was titled Once Upon A Time. The new album is however titled Red and features guest appearances from WizKid, Tuface Idibia and more. Production on the project was from Don Jazzy and Baby Fresh of Mavin Records. To invite the fans to her listening party she posted this on her instagram page, “Without you all I would not be able to testify to my success story. #OnceUponATime I had this passion burning inside and God has been faithful to me, the fire keeps burning bigger and brigther. Tomorrow night join me as we paint the town #RED with my exclusive album listening at Industry night hosted by my darling @fadeogunro It would mean so much to me to see your beautiful faces tomorrow, friends, supporters, media partners, colleagues and well wishers. God bless you all #IamRED #AlbumLoading #SavageSoldiers #RedNation”
The event was anchored by media personality Fade Ogunro. Tiwa Savage is an a-list Nigerian musician who is renowned for her hit records and multiple awards. She delivered a baby boy in July, 2015 and pundits have attributed this to a delay in the release of her current album as well as the relative lull in her music career.
