Tor Tiv blasts Miyetti Allah over Benue killings: “Deal with your criminal elements”

The Tor Tiv asserted that the persistent attacks on Benue communities are intolerable, particularly the killings, rape of women, and defilement of daughters.

 “Any culture that is killing our people, raping our women and daughters cannot be tolerated in Benue State.”

He directly questioned Miyetti Allah’s claims of not knowing the perpetrators, pointing to similarities in appearance, language, and the weapons used by the killer herdsmen.

“You cannot tell me you don’t know them. They dress like you, they speak like you, they carries AK47 like you, they are killing us like you so how can you say you don’t know them?”

The Tor Tiv’s statement underscores the deep frustration and anger within Benue State over the continued attacks and places the onus on Miyetti Allah to take concrete action against the alleged criminal elements within their association.
