Truck crushes 2 to death, injures 7 others in Osun
A road accident that occurred along Ilesha-Ife highway has claimed two lives, while seven others were injured.
The accident, which involved a commercial bus and a truck, was reportedly caused by road traffic violation.
A source close to the scene, said the crash which occurred around Tonkere, a community along Ilesha/Ile-Ife expressway, Sunday evening, was caused by a truck which reportedly drove against traffic and ran over the bus.

Special Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun Command, Agnes Ogungbemi, on Monday, said 23 people were in the two vehicles involved.
She said, “The accident was fatal and the probable cause is road traffic violation. The truck drove against traffic and ran over the bus. Two male were killed in the accident, while 7 others, 3 male and 4 female were injured.
“Twenty three people were involved in the accident. Our command rescue team took injured victims to Our Lady Catholic Hospital, Ipetumodu, while remains of the two persons that died were taken to OAUTH morgue.”
