Two brothers reportedly kill their uncle’s security guard and son while attempting to steal his car
Operatives of the Enugu Police Command have arrested two brothers in connection with the alleged murder of a security guard, Christian Ngene, and his 12-year-old son, Promise Ngene, at their home in Onuakpaka, Ndiagu-Akpugo in Nkanu West LGA, in an attempt to steal and sell their Uncle’s car.
In a statement signed by the Division’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, he said the suspects were arrested after a report of the murder was received on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
The statement reads in part, “Upon receipt of the report, Police Operatives of the Division swiftly moved to the scene, found and evacuated the lifeless bodies of the victims to the hospital, where they were confirmed dead by doctors and their remains deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
