Underage Offenders Have Correctional Centres – Delta PPRO
The Public Relations Officer for the Delta State Police Command, SP. Bright Edafe, has addressed concerns regarding the arrest of minors, stating that there are correctional centres for underage offenders in Nigeria.
Edafe disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.
He wrote, “People call and ask why should the police arrest a girl or boy of 12 years.
“I will go into the details later, but I want Deltans and concerned Nigerians to know that we have correctional centres for underage in Nigeria.
“In Delta State, it’s domiciled in Sapele, Delta State. Knowledge is power. Ignorance of the law is no excuse, my people.”
