Update on Buhari’s son’s health
Contrary to reports that the health President Muhammadu Buhari’s son took a dip Thursday, the presidency has stated there is no truth in the said report stating Yusuf has been flown abroad.
The first son was on Tuesday night involved in a bike accident in Abuja, sustaining a head and limb injuries surgically treated at a private hospital in Abuja.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Garba Shehu said it was not true Yusuf had gone abroad.
Shehu in a statement on Wednesday said, “Yusuf Buhari had a bike accident last night around Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
“He broke a limb and had an injury to the head as a result. He has undergone surgery at a clinic in Abuja. He is in a stable condition.
“The President and his wife, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, are thankful to Nigerians for the good wishes and prayers for their son.
“May God reward you all.”
