Two killed in early morning crash on Lagos-Ibadan expressway
A fatal road accident involving a Mazda bus and a MAN diesel truck claimed the lives of two people on the Long Bridge section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday.
The crash occurred early hours of the day, resulting in the deaths of two male occupants and injuries to another.
The injured victim was taken to Hopeland Hospital in Warewa, while the bodies of the deceased were transported to the Real Divine Hospital morgue in Ibafo.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) attributed the cause of the accident to road obstruction and driver fatigue.

The command’s spokesperson, Florence Okpe, urged motorists to be cautious and avoid reckless driving.
Sector Commander Akinwumi Fasakin extended condolences to the families of the victims and reiterated the importance of taking regular breaks during long journeys to prevent accidents.
The tragic incident highlights the ongoing dangers on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
