What Gumi said after fire burnt his Kaduna home
Islamic Scholar, Shaikh Ahmad Gumi’s Kaduna home went up in flames Saturday afternoon.
The cause of the incident is not yet known, and there is no casualty figure yet.
The building which served as a school too had its roof licked as resident made effort to put out the fire.
“It was God’s will and the cause unknown because there was no electricity when the incident happened,” Gumi told the Daily Trust.
The Islamic scholar has fallen silent since his efforts to tame the bandits across the northwest failed.
