Wike issues fresh threat to Atiku, foresees presidential defeat, but gov, other elections victory in Rivers
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State at the swearing-in of newly appointed 319 Ward and 32 Constituency Liaison Officers in the state in Port Harcourt, issued fresh threat to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, declaring victory for the PDP in all 2023 elections in Rivers except the presidential election.
Governor Wike gad declared: “PDP will win our State. I am not hiding it as far as the governorship, House of Representatives, Senate, and State Assembly is concerned. The other one, we have not decided, until the right thing is done.
“I watched when one Dr. Abiye Sekibo, while addressing people in his house yesterday (Sunday), said he is the director of Atiku’s Supporters in Rivers. I have no problem with that, but he does not have that capacity to speak on behalf of Rivers State.”
