Wike, Makinde, Ikpeazu, Ortom depart Nigeria for another meeting in Spain on PDP crisis
The group of five governors in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) G5, led by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, which include Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, in Saturday departed the shores of Nigeria to hold another meeting on the PDP crisis in Spain. has left the country for Spain according to reports.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwanyi of Enugu State, was however, not mentioned among the governors that joined Wike on the trip to Europe.
The PDP G5 has been agitating for the resignation of the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, after the emergence of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the PDP presidential candidate for the 2023 elections.
