Igbariam: Victim shot dead, beheaded now identified as newlywed

As the police continues its investigation of Igbariam, Anambra murder covered in a video trending online, more of the incident is coming into the open.

The victim has been identified.

The National Daily earlier reported that in the video, Olisa was seen dragged out of his car by some masked men who then shot him dead.

Later in the video, a skull is being kicked around.

According to Facebook user Dan Ugwu, the victim just got married to his wife Uju in May.

” He didn’t imagine anything untoward at least this year. A group of gunmen ambushed him at Igbariam Anambra state. The daredevils dragged him out of his car, shot him repeatedly at the heart and left him in the pool of his blood,” Ugwu wrote.

“The way and manner human life is wasted on daily basis in Nigeria is unimaginable. While saner societies are making it difficult for criminals to succeed, ours is becoming a fertile ground to kill and escape.”

“I am weak of writing RIP all day. Happy Sunday Olisa. Thank you.” he wrote.

The police has vowed to get to the root of the matter.
