Maybe we have to raise it to N500m so that the boys will walk away- Joe Igbokwe
The price for APC’S nomination forms for the 2023 elections was revealed yesterday and a lot of Nigerians were shocked after they saw the new amount of the forms. In 2019 the prices were cheaper, then the presidential form was N45 million, the governorship was N25 million, Senate form was N8 million, house of representatives form was N3,850,000 and state house of assembly form was N850,000.
The announcement yesterday shows that the price of the forms has increased by over 50%, now the presidential form cost N100 million, governorship form cost N50 million, Senate cost N20 million, House of Representatives cost N10 million and that of state house of assembly cost N2 million.
This morning Joe Igbokwe was on his Facebook account to give a twist to the price of APC’s nomination forms for the 2023 elections, Joe Igbokwe said that maybe the price of the presidential ticket should be increased to N500 million so that the boys will walk away from the contest. Joe Igbokwe noted that his idea might sound strange to people, but getting a great and wonderful president deserves spending that kind of money, given what he will chair.
