2023 Presidential Election: Peter Obi polls 191,361 votes in APC-controlled Nasarawa State
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party LP, Peter Obi has defeated the candidates of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinibu and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party in Nasarawa State.
Obi who captured four local governments as well as votes, obtained votes from other LGAs totalling 191,361 to clinch the state. He was ahead of other political parties such as the ruling APC with 172, 922 votes, PDP with a total score of 147, 093, NNPP polled 12, 715, APGA polled 989 among other parties.
