2023: Wike slams Yahaya Bello

Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State has slammed Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, that since his defeat in the PDP’s presidential primary election a few months ago, he had only made one trip to Abuja.

During the book launch to honor retiring Justice Abdul Aboki, Nyesom Wike made this statement.

Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has reportedly been coming to Abuja frequently ever since he lost the APC’s presidential primary, according to Nyesom Wike.

Wike stated to those present at the book presentation that this was his first time visiting Abuja after finishing last in the PDP primary poll.

Wike went on to blast Yahaya Bello for always leaving his state and visiting Abuja on a regular basis despite haven lost out in the primary election of APC. Before now, Nyesom Wike has constantly maintained that he does not like it when he sees politicians going to Abujas to spend time instead of spending time in their various states and developing their states.
