3 Reasons why some women die after child birth
Pregnancy is a very difficult time in every woman’s life. The reason for this is that women develop certain problems during and even while in labor, and if proper precautions are not taken, some women develop certain problems and die after childbirth, while others die during pregnancy. This is very disheartening and sad, given that in most cases, not only does the child die, but the mother also dies, causing sorrow in the home of such a woman.
We’ll look at some of the reasons why women die after childbirth for the sake of raising awareness. If you’ve been wondering why, this article will probably open your eyes and help you, if you’re a health practitioner, educate others on the safest way to handle childbearing to avoid causing maternal mortality. Simply sit back and absorb what you can from this article.
1. Some Women Die As A Result Of Severe Bleeding During Childbirth; sometimes it’s not because of something the woman has been fighting for a long time, but because of the hospital where she is giving birth’s poor handling or management. When a woman bleeds for an extended period of time during childbirth, it can result in unconsciousness and, eventually, death if not treated seriously by doctors and nurses. As a result, some women are immediately placed in critical need of blood after having a child.
2. Some Women Die Due to Increased Blood Pressure, also known as Pre-eclampsia and eclampsia; some pregnant women in the process of child bearing suffer from high blood pressure, which can be managed by the hospital, but if the hospital overlooks it, such a woman has a high risk of dying. This is heartbreaking, and it is also one of the leading causes of post-partum mortality in women.
3. Some women die as a result of infections, which are usually the result of poor hygiene at the hospital or place of birth. If a woman is not handled hygienically by the hospital after delivery, she may become infected and develop convulsions and other problems that may eventually lead to her death. This is also one of the tragic reasons why pregnant women die after childbirth, and it is critical that we all understand this.
