30-yr-old heavily pregnant woman arrested in Lagos for stabbing her maid

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a heavily pregnant woman, identified as Eucheria Ndigwe, 30, for allegedly stabbing her maid with a knife for failure to wash a bag.

It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday, May 19, at Adaloko, in Ojo LGA of the state.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the suspect’s arrest in a statement on Saturday, May 20.

“The woman was arrested. It was discovered that she is heavily pregnant and was transferred to the Gender Unit of the command where they will work with the Lagos State Domestic, S€xual and Gender Viol€nce Agency.

While she is there, they will take care of her medically while the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
