5 things you should know about Nigerian Idol winner, Progress Chukwuyem
On Sunday, Progress Chukwuyem emerged as this season’s winner of the singing contest, the Nigerian Idol.
He beat his closest competitor, Zadok, to win the grand prize.
Below are some things you should know about him:
1. Progress is 21 years old.
2. He hails from Ika South, Delta State.
3. Apart from being a singer, Progress is also a songwriter, performer and music minister.
4. Some of the prizes he got include cash prize of N30 million, a new SUV, he will also get to record an EP and a music video, among other gifts.
5. Before going for the show, Progress revealed he taught music to some kids from the slum areas of Iyara in Warri, Delta State.
