71-year-old man , 45yr-old wife have triplets years after marriage
A 71-year-old retired priest fathered triplets with a 45-year-old woman who gave birth to the babies on September 21 at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital in Ado-Ekiti.
Anglican retired Venerable Hezekiah Akenroye and Durodoluwa Felicia Akenroye married in April 2016.
First Lady Bisi Fayemi who visited the mother and babies said the delivery is an indication God still answers prayers.
She presented the babies with cash and other gifts.
Akenroye thanked the first lady as he rejoiced for having children at that age and after waiting for about seven years, though he hadn’t believed he could still have a child.
The babies weighed 2.3kg, 2.0kg and 1.8 kg.
