Parents must discover their kids’ talents early enough — Josephine Oluwajobi
AS we approach 28th November 2015, a day set aside to honour YPS club members who have executed lofty projects, one of the team leaders and organiser is calling on to parents to get involved in the early discovering of their kids’ gifts. Josephine Oluwajobi reiterated on the cliché that supports the early development of kids innate abilities.
In a briefing with some pressmen recently She and her husband, Adeniyi Oluwajobi talked about this year’s YPS projects luncheon tagged Raising Young Leaders. The event which is billed to take place at the victory hall of Jesus Evangelical Assembly, Ikeja, has five young talents showcasing their respective works. Mojola who is six years old would be presenting her polished skills in Fashion and Beauty.
In the same light Dideolu who is only two years older than Mojola will be launching his kiddie’s dictionary of 218 words. While Folajimi and Omodara will be present their separate art exhibitions. Misimi would also be on ground to wow all with her album lunch.
The Young Public Speakers ( YPS ) is a platform for grooming young leaders. It grooms young people to attain excellence in their delivery of public speech, comportment and carriage. Every member of the club is trained to be solution finders and inspirational speakers and leaders. They consistently undergo activities that challenge their intellectual capacities, solution finding abilities and public speaking skills. Research skills, critical thinking, Social & Emotional Skills, Public speaking and Personal Development skills are ingrained in the training bundle.
