7 victims die of hunger in Zamfara kidnappers’ den
Seven men kidnapped victims at Ruwan Doruwa district, in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara, about three months ago, are dead.
According to sources, they died of hunger in kidnappers’ den.
Food and other supply lines have been cut short since the military launched an anti-banditry operations weeks ago.
The bandits themselves are finding it increasingly difficult to survive, let alone taking care of their hostages.
Fourteen women were abducted with the seven men that died. But the women were released after they paid N4 million in ransom—unlike the seven who had no one to help them.
