Bandits abduct Catholic Priest in fresh operation in Kaduna
Bandits on kidnapped a Catholic Priest in fresh operation in Kauru Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The bandits were said to have kidnapped Reverend Father Emmanuel Silas at Saint Charles Catholic Church, Zambina, Kauru Local Government in the early hours of Monday.
Bandits had a fortnight ago killed the Catholic Priest of the Kaduna Polytechnic Catholic community, Reverend Father Vitus Borogo, in his farm at Kujama, Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The Chancellor of Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, Reverend Father Emmanuel Okolo, had confirmed the kidnap of the priest. He disclosed that the Parish discovered the kidnap when the priest did not attend the early morning mass on Monday.
