Co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls and Human Right Activist, Aisha Yesufu has made a new revelation on plans being deployed to scuttle the moves of the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Dr. Peter Obi.
The social media influencer who wrote this on twitter on Monday morning was responding to one of Peter Obi’s supporters who was expressing her anger over the decision of the former Anambra Governor to apologize over the decision of his supporters to engrave his image on Muslim Praying Mat.
The lady question Peter Obi why he had to apologize for that. She noted that his supporters are working for him voluntarily without expecting anything in return. She said anybody can do whatever they like to promote his candidature and all he needs to bother himself with is how to deliver on his campaign promises.
Reacting to the statement, Aisha Yesufu said a tactic has been adopted by some people to scuttle Peter Obi’s Presidential Ambition. He said the former governor of Anambra State is being set up without knowing.According to Yesufu, the plan is to turn people against the Labour Party Presidential Flagbearer. She said it is the same tactics that was used to destroy Ends SARS campaign which attracted Youths all over the country.
She wrote: “What he doesn’t get is that he is being set up! They will carry the same thugs they used to attack #EndSARS protesters and destroy towns, give them T-shirts with his picture and say they are his supporters.”
