Edo 2024: Akpata visits Peter Obi

In the build up to the September governorship election in Edo State, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the state, Olumide Akpata, has visited Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the LP in the 2023 general election, for consultation.

Akpata emphasised that they both shared a strong desire for the official campaigning period designated by INEC to begin so that they can continue to connect with the wonderful people of Edo, who have shown tremendous love and support for the LP.

“It was an honour to be warmly received by our leader and the presidential candidate of our party, the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, @PeterObi, at his residence earlier today.

“We had an enriching discourse on vital matters about the Labour Party and more importantly, the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo State.

“Mr Peter Obi and I both share a strong desire for the official campaigning period designated by INEC to begin so that we can continue to connect with the wonderful people of Edo, who have shown tremendous love and support for our cause.
