Christian Ogar wins first laurel with Belhar RFC
IT was a great deal for Belhar RFC and speedster Christian Ogar as they won the plate in the Bazaar Wesbank 7s this weekend. The Bazaar westbank 7s is the first 7s tournament played by Belhar RFC this season and already Christian Ogar has started showing his worth by scoring 2 tries in the pool stage and 1 in the plate final, Belhar RFC defeated Hamilton RFC by 31-7 points in the plate finals to claim their first laurel of the season.

The 7s coach of Belhar RFC said the tournament was highly competitive and that the speed star will be a great asset to the club despite his been new in the club and still adapting to the style of play and manages to score 3 tries.
Aslo, Christain Ogar acknowledged that despite the high standard of the game and other challenges in South Africa, he will be motivated to upgrade his game. He added that he will not allow any challenges to hold him back.
