The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of a 15-year-old boy, Chibuike Damian Onyebuchi, who was reportedly abducted in Onitsha, Anambra State, and later found in Kogi State after escaping his captors.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed that efforts are underway to reunite the teenager with his family.
Onyebuchi, who hails from a community in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, recounted his ordeal, stating that he was kidnapped by unidentified individuals and taken to an undisclosed location.
After a harrowing escape, he found himself in Kogi State, where good Samaritans facilitated his arrival at a local police station.
