Abe congratulates Dame Etiaba at 80
The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 general elections in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has congratulated Dame Virgy Etiaba on her 80th birthday celebration.
Abe in a statement on his Facebook Page described Dame Virgy Etiaba as a role model not just to women but to all those who appreciates the virtues of hard work, discipline and forthrightness as foundational values upon which success is built.
He further said that Dame Virgy Etiaba who is the first female Executive Governor in Nigeria would be remembered for her humble disposition and the zeal to deliver on assignments.
The statement reads: “I write to most heartily felicitate with your family on the joyous occasion of the 80th Birthday of a dear mother, Her Excellency Dame Virgy Etiaba.
“My wife and I are very happy to share in your joy as occasions of this nature remind us all of the faithfulness of God through the years.
“Dame Etiaba is by all means a role model not just to women but to everyone who appreciates the virtues of hard work, discipline and forthrightness as foundational values upon which success is built.
“You have been a source of strength, courage and wisdom to many people around the nation who have been blessed to work with you in the civil and public service respectively.
“While your dedication and zeal to deliver on assignments aided you to an unprecedented meteoric rise to national prominence as the first female Executive Governor of a State in Nigeria.
“It is my prayer that God Almighty who has blessed you thus far, will keep you in good health and happy spirits for many more years to come”.
