According to Google data, Real Madrid is the most searched for team in 2018
Having won four of the last five Champions League titles, the madridistas are top of internet searches in a total of 97 countries around the world. Behind the Whites on the list are several English sides (Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool) along with Barcelona.
In terms of Europe, where the statistics show the most followed teams by country, Real Madrid have been prevalent in countries such as Switzerland, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Lithuania, etc.
Real Madrid are top of the list of digital searches across four continents (Europe, Africa, Asia and America).
Interest in Real Madrid remains ever high in the USA and Canada, South America (Colombia, Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Paraguay) and in almost every country in North Africa.
