Again, bandits attack another mosque in Taraba, kill district head

Gunmen attacked a mosque at Maisamari, Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, and killed a district head.

According to witnesses, Alhaji Abdulkadir Maisamari was killed during Ishai prayers on Monday night.

But residents mobilized and stood up to the gunmen who reportedly fled to a mountain close to the town.

Nobody was kidnapped.

The Maisamari incident became the third mosque the Bandits attacked within days.
