Again, Boko Haram kill four army officers, injure 20 others

Men attached to Operation LAFIYA DOLE in Borno state on administration patrol from Maiduguri were ambushed between Miyanti and Dareljamal losing an officer and three soldiers while 16 soldiers and three civilian JTF were injured.

Similarly, three Boko Haram Boko Haram terrorists were killed by the troops and  recovered a Machine Gun, one AK-47 Rifle and some quantity of ammunition.

It was further learnt that the troops also ran into an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion.

It was gathered that the impact of the explosion from the IED damaged two vehicles that ran into the IED.

Those injured are said to be receiving treatment as they are in stable condition, the military say in Abuja.
