Alonso, Fabregas react to Pedro goal for his club
Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Chelsea football club star Marcos Alonso have reacted to Pedro Rodriguez statement, after netting a goal in Lazio’s victory over AS Roma football club on Sunday.
The Spaniard was given another starting role against his former club by coach Maurizio Sarri and he was able to play a vital role in the team’s victory.
Pedro Rodriguez started in the home team’s attack alongside Felipe Anderson and Ciro Immobile and the trio were superb in the game.
Serbian star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic opened scoring for the home team in the 10th minutes, and Pedro Rodriguez doubled the lead in the 18th minutes before Roger Ibanez scored a goal for the away team in the 41st minutes to end the first half 2-1.
Filipe Anderson made it 3-1 in the 63rd minutes through an assist from Ciro Immobile before Jordan Veretout scored the last goal of the game for the away team via a penalty kick in the 69th minutes to end the match 3-2.
Reacting after netting a goal in his team’s victory, Pedro Rodriguez posted on his verified Instagram handle that;
“It was a heart-felt game ❤️ scoring and helping the team makes me really happy!! Thank you for a wonderful atmosphere. We keep growing slowly… have faith!! 💪🏻🙏.”
Reacting to Pedro Rodriguez statement, Cesc Fabregas, Marcos Alonso and fans reacted by commenting to praise him.
Pedro Rodriguez will now be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance for Lazio FC when they play their next game.
