Ambode, Lai Mohammed inspect National Art Theatre Lagos complex
The Governor of Lagos State; Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode and the Minister of Information and Culture; Alhaji Lai Mohammad has undertaken an inspection tour of the National Art Theatre complex facilities in Lagos to evaluate the state of the theater.
Governor Ambode is vying to take over the facility from the Federal government and has shown unreserved commitment to accomplish this quest that will lead to the preservation of the multi billion naira complex.
In his remark during the inspection, the governor said, “We will collaborate with the Federal Government and the Ministry of Information, Art and Culture to uplift this national monument.”
The Governor has left no one in doubt about his resolve to grow the Lagos economy and empower the youth through several alternative means which include the tactical promotion of tourism, arts, culture, entertainment and sports.
Governor Ambode’s tenacity in the advancement of T.H.E.S.E which is an acronym for ‘Tourism, Hospitality, Entertainment and Sporting Excellence’ is a reflection of his massive passion for the arts.
