Amuwo Odofin Council Chief Sanusi Led Team Intercepts 200 suspected Criminals
…Commends Reps Candidate’s support, tasks Residents On Security Collaboration
The Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Executive Chairman Prince Lanre Sanusi has lauded the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives candidate Moshood Olanrewaju, for displaying an officious mien on security matter.
Adding his support help greatly in the quick interception of over 200 suspected criminals in the area on Saturday.
Sanusi expressed his appreciation of the candidate fondly known as MO, whom he declared have been a dependable ally when issues demands immediate attention within the Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency and always contribute immensely towards ensuring community’ s security and advancement,
According to the council’s Mayor Sanusi, MO was a pillar of support when it matters most.
“Today, acting on credible intelligence provided by vigilant residents, I immediately coordinated with security agencies following the interception of a truck conveying over 200 individuals suspected to be involved in criminal activities within Amuwo-Odofin Local Government.
“Given the current security challenges facing our nation, I considered it necessary to take urgent action to safeguard our communities.
“Upon receiving the report, I promptly engaged the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant security agencies to take control of the situation, while also communicating with the Lagos State Government to ensure appropriate and lawful handling of the matter.
“I wish to acknowledge the support and sense of responsibility demonstrated by Hon. Moses Olarewaju (MO), the APC Candidate for the House of Representatives, who immediately stood beside me throughout the process.
“ His presence and commitment during this critical moment reflected leadership, courage, and genuine concern for the safety and well-being of our people.
“As the APC Candidate for the House of Representatives, MO has continued to demonstrate that leadership is about service, responsibility, and standing with the people when it matters most.
“His support further strengthened our collective resolve to ensure that the security of Amuwo-Odofin remains a top priority.
“The security and safety of our residents remain my highest priority.
“As Executive Chairman, I have a responsibility to protect lives and property, and I will continue to work closely with security agencies to investigate every potential threat and ensure that Amuwo-Odofin remains safe for all law-abiding residents.”
Sanusi who commended the professional conduct of security operatives however, urged residents of Amuwo-Odofin to continue taking issues of security seriously, by being much more vigilant and keeping the flow of information to make timely interventions possible.
“I urge all residents to remain alert and continue to cooperate with security agencies by reporting suspicious movements and activities within their communities. Security is a collective responsibility, and together we can continue to preserve the peace and stability we all desire.
“I remain fully committed to strengthening security collaboration and taking every necessary step to protect the lives and well-being of the people of Amuwo-Odofin.” Sanusi said.
