Anambra 2021: CNPP congratulates Soludo
The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) on Wednesday congratulated Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, winner of the 2021 Anambra State governorship election concluded on Wednesday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The Conference commended the INEC for the transparent conduct of the governorship election and allowing the wish of the people to prevail in Anambra State.
CNPP in a statement by the Secretary General, Chief Willy Ezugwu, counselled both the winner and the other contestants to join hands to turn the fortunes of the state around for the benefit of all the residents.
The CNPP declared: “The contestants should accept the outcome and ovoid the temptation of needless post elections litigations that have become a trademark in Anambra State.
“The CNPP believes that the majority has had their way while the minority has also had their say; that is democracy.
“While we congratulate the winner, we urge him to constitute a unity government to speed up developments in Anambra State.
“Prof. Soludo has all it takes to make Anambra State the Dubai of Africa he has always dreamt of.
“Congratulations on your well-deserved victory.”
