Anambra 2025: List of 16 party candidates, running mates for Nov. 8 election
The party candidates and running mates for the November 8, 2025 governroship election in Anambra State including the following:
- Accord (A) Charles – Onyeze and Apollonia Ezeadili
- Action Alliance (AA) – Japhet Ndeke and Anayochukwu Obi
- African Action Congress (AAC) – Grace Ifemeludike and Ikechukwu Mgbemena
- African Democratic Congress (ADC) – John Nwosu and Ndubuisi Nwobu
- All Progressives Congress (APC) – Nicholas Ukachukwu and Lilian Ekwunife
- All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) – incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Gilbert Ibezim
- Allied Peoples Movement (APM) – Echezona Otti and Samuel Ezeigwe
- Action Peoples Party (APP) – Cukwudubem Ndeke and Ebele Okeke
- Boot Party (BP) – Jerry Okeke and Happiness Ugboma
- Labour Party (LP) – Nnadubem Moghalu and Veronica Okaro
- New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) – Geoffrey Onyejegbu and Victor Arinze
- National Rescue Movement (NRM) – Ndidi Olieh and Reginald Egbe
- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – Jude Ezenwafor and Chukwudi Okeke
- Social Democratic Party (SDP) – Vincent Chukwurah and Venatious Odira
- Young Progressives Party (YPP) – Chukwuka Chukwuma and Izuchukwu Okagbue
- Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) – Martin Ugwoji and Faith Obi
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in a statement on Wednesday by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information & Voter Education Committee, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information & Voter Education Committee, indicated that 16 out of 19 registered political parties in the country will participate in the Novemebr 8 governorship election in Anambra State.
According to Sam Olumekun, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information & Voter Education Committee, “A total of 16 political parties uploaded the particulars of their candidates (Form EC9) by the deadline of 6.00pm on May 12, 2025.”
