APC begins fresh preparations for National Convention
The All Progressives Congress (APC) may have commenced fresh preparations for the party’s national convention. The APC Caretaker Committee on Monday disclosed the scheduling of its Zonal Congresses to hold on March 26.
There have been informal notifications that the APC National Convention scheduled for February 26 has been postponed.
APC, in a letter by the Caretaker Committee National Secretary, John Akpanudoedehe, including Caretaker Chairman, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), notified the Commission of the plan to conduct zonal congresses in the country.
The indicated: “This notice supersedes our earlier notice for National Convention referenced APC/NHDQ/INEC/019/22/14 this is predicated on the evaluation of our Party Constitution.”
