Ahead of the forthcoming National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for March 26, 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the zoning arrangement of released recently. The President reportedly affirmed the choices of a Former Governor of Nasarawa State now a serving Senator, Abdullahi Adamu for the National Chairmanship Position; A Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani as Deputy National Chairman (South) and Senator John Akpan Udoedehe for the National Secretary Position.
It will be recalled that some Chieftains of the party including serving Governors recently rejected the Choice of Adamu.
According to a report, Majority of the APC Chieftains who rejected the Choice of Adamu insisted that the Ex-Governor had his political root in the PDP before his defection to the APC in 2014.
