Armed robbery goes bad; Isikilu Moses unfortunate
An armed robber among others operating at the Joju area, Ado Odo/Ota, Ogun, was arrested by the police right on the spot on the weekend.
Isikilu Moses alongside his gang members allegedly stormed Adebesin Street, dispossessed many of the residents at gun point.
The state police command PRO, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said on Sunday that the DPO of Sango division, SP Saleh Dahiru, acting on the information, had immediately mobilised his patrol team to the scene.
Sighting the policemen, the hoodlums took to their heels, and in the chase that followed, Moses was unlucky.
Oyeyemi disclosed that one locally-made pistol, and two mobile phones belonging to victims, were recovered from the suspect.
The police spokesperson disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has directed that the suspect be transferred to the state CIID, and the fleeing hoods b tracked.
