Arsenal Beat Hull City to extend Premier League lead to six points
Arsenal have strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League table after securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday.
The narrow win ensured Mikel Arteta’s side will remain top of the standings during the November international break, opening a six-point gap over their closest challengers.
The Gunners, however, found it difficult to break down the newly promoted Hull City side, with the visitors frustrating their attacking efforts for much of the encounter.
The breakthrough eventually arrived in the 72nd minute when Hull goalkeeper spilled Noni Madueke’s effort into the penalty area.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard reacted quickest to the loose ball, guiding it into the net to secure all three points for the North London club.
The victory takes Arsenal to 27 points from 10 matches, strengthening their early-season title ambitions.
However, their advantage could be reduced if second-placed Manchester City secure victory against Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s late kick-off.
Despite the possibility of City’s response, Arsenal have continued to demonstrate impressive consistency under Arteta, maintaining their position as early favourites in the Premier League title race.
