AY comedian reveals those who burnt down his house
Days after AY rebuilt his burnt-down mansion, he reveals the reason why his house was burnt down.
AY comedian spoke at the Easter Edition of his comedy show AY Live, in Lagos on Sunday. He confessed that his problems began when he announced his support for the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate for the last election, Peter Obi. He said despite all his troubles, he didn’t regret supporting Obi.

“I supported Peter Obi [in the last presidential election]. I do not regret supporting Peter Obi. That was when my problems started.”, he revealed.
He revealed the reason why he supported his candidate despite the tribal uproar that was brewing between the Igbos and Yorubas.
“The decision I made to support Peter Obi is not because I am a politician but because I want change. I want Nigeria to become better.”, he added.
He drew a correlation between his burnt house and his support for Obi. AY subtly accused the other contesting parties or cabals of targetting his mansion, as a way to punish him for going against the grain.
“After I started campaigning for Obi on social media, my house got burnt. After God, the next person you should fear and respect is the government. Try the government, they will shock you.” he accused.
AY has since rebuilt his mansion. The big gorgeous building stands taller and brighter than it did before.
