Bandits abduct 10 students from a secondary school in Kaduna
At least 10 students have been abducted by bandits from Government Day Secondary School in Awon, Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.
The Commissioner, Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Tuesday, April 4, said the students were abducted on Monday, April 3rd.
Auwan said the State Government received preliminary reports from security agencies regarding the kidnap of the students.
According to the preliminary reports, in Aruwan’s press release, the exact location of the incident is yet to be ascertained but detailed reports being awaited will clarify whether the incident occurred within the school premises or elsewhere.
“The Government will issue a public statement accordingly when these reports are received,” the commissioner stated.
