Biafra League blocks Cameroon border, chases external Ambazonia fighters near Ikom territory
The Biafra Nations League (BNL) may have taken the war of territorial control to the Cameroonian gendarmes. The BNL, accordingly, shut down Cameroon border communities in Ikom, Etung, Boki and Akamkpa areas in Cross River State, in retaliation for information that some Ambazonia fighters blocked the Nigerian border, and were harassing Nigerian citizens with origin from the Biafra nation.
BNL Deputy National Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon, had assured that the Biafra Nation League is on red alert over the conflicts building up in the border communities. Akor Takon insisted that BNL has blocked all communities adjacent to Southern Cameroon, saying that no one is allowed to cross the border communities from Ambazonia. Akor Takon wondered why the Ambazonia fighters would block the borders in Biafra territory and are harassing people in Biafra land.
The Biafra National League Deputy National Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon, declared that the border blockade on the Biafran territory would last till October 22nd in solidarity with the court trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, in Abuja by the Nigerian government.
It was gathered that Cameroonian resident in Nigeria, Bisong Ojong Nre, revealed how he escaped into Cameroon as tension build up in the border communities after Ambazonia fighters blocked border communities into Nigeria, and the Biafra Nation League challenged the action and blocked the border communities into Cameroon.
The Biafra National League Deputy National Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon, has warned that the presence of the Ambazonia fighters from Cameroon would no longer be tolerated by the BNL in the border communities.
