Bomb explosive injures 7-year-old Almajiri pupil in Yobe
A bomb explosion occurred near Nayinawa forest, adjacent to Damaturu, Yobe State, in the morning hours of Sunday, injuring a seven-year-old Almajiri pupil. The explosion was heard at about 9.00am on Sunday, causing panic in the community, however, there was no report of loss of life.
when a heavy sound was heard in the area causing the residents to scamper for safety. However, there was no reported loss of life.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Yobe State Command, Dungus Abdulkarim, was gathered to have acknowledged the explosion, saying that the Anti-Bomb Squad of the police has been dispatched to the area.
The PPRO was said to have noted injured pupil was the only person affected and has been taken to the hospital for medical attention.
There was no further details on the incident, which occurred after the nigerian government has been issued terror attack alert by the United States (U.S.) and the United Kingdom (U.K.) recently.
