BREAKING: Uneasy calm as Buhari lands in Owerri
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Imo in his presidential jet that landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the state capital.
Imo Gov Hope Uzodinma earlier sated Buhari was coming to commission projects in the state.
Imo is one of the southeastern states beset with secessionist agitation and banditry.
His visit initially ran into problem as IPOB issued an order asking citizens to stay at home.
But the group later denied the order, saying its militant wing ESN should keep the peace.
