Buhari approves reconstitution of the Board of National Directorate of Employment
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reconstitution of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) on the expiration of the tenure of the former Board members.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement on Thursday indicated that the Board will be inaugurated by the Supervising Minister of the NDE, and Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, on a date to be communicated to all appointees.
He stated that their appointment is for a period of four years.
Members of the new Board include:
Festus Keyamo, SAN – Chairman (As statutorily provided for Supervising Ministers of the Agency)
Chris J. Maiyaki (Member), representing the National Universities Commission.
Mallam Lawal Y. Hafiz (Member), representing the National Board for Technical Education.
Prince Tony Omoaghe – Member
Mrs. Obiageli B. Orah – Member
Yamah Patience J. – Member – representing the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack – representing the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.
Mohammed Ndadoko – Member- representing the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment Industry.
Dr. Yerima P. Terfa – Member – the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Rasaq Bello-Osagie- Member
Mrs. Olubunmi Osuntuyi – Member, representing the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association.
