Buhari confers Commander of the Order of the Niger on constitutional lawyer, Mike Ozekhome

The President Muhammadu Buhari has conferred the prestigious National Honour of COMMANDER OF THE ORDER OF THE NIGER (CON ) on Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN. Ozekhome have earlier received the National honour of OFFICER OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC (OFR); he will be conferred with the national honor with other eminent Nigerians at a ceremony slated for November 11, 2022, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Dr. Ozekhome is being recognized for hia famous patriotism, pan-Nigerian, industry, and consistency in speaking truth to authority; challenging impunity; and fiercely advocating and defending the rule of law, good governance and the fundamental rights of the voiceless, the oppressed, repressed and marginalized Nigerian citizens.
